Do-it-Yourself vs. Dealer Installation

Bella retractable screens were purposely designed for simple DIY installations. When I visited Italy to review retractable screen companies, I was struck by the design simplicity for installing retractable screens. I believe the dealer-installed-only program of many of our competitors is badly flawed.

First, a properly designed screen system should not require a dealer to install. The insistence that their product be installed by a “professional” smacks of a poor design that makes installation difficult or it could be a ploy to up sell you once they gain entry to your home. You make a couple of simple measurements, place your order online and install your screen in a few minutes. Of course, if you want to hire a handy-man to install your screen, you can; but it really isn’t necessary!
